Lyrical

A style of Jazz & Ballet technique demonstrating clean, classical lines while emphasizing emotional interpretation of the lyrics in the music.

All of our lyrical classes stress correct technique in this style. Class level is determined by the instructor and is based on an individual assessment when the student takes a trial class. All students receive corrections during class to help them advance. Students advance to the next level based on the recommendation of the instructor.

Class Attire

We require all dancers to wear a black leotard with skin matching half-sole hanami pirouette shoes and pink or tan convertible tights.

No cover-ups or skirts are allowed.

Hair must be pulled back into a ponytail.
